Utah Renaissance Faire at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi is Jolly Good Fun for the Whole Family

I hadn’t been to a Renaissance Faire in a long, long time, so when the chance to go to the Utah Renaissance Faire popped up, I grabbed it and grabbed one of my favorite kiddos to come with me. We drove to Lehi to Thanksgiving Point and found some Renaissance fun.

Here’s what is great about this event:

1. It is at a beautiful, spacious facility all green grass and lots of room. Plentiful, clean restrooms. Lots of parking.
2. Tons of really cool stuff to buy. Not your usual Utah fair stuff, but–really, you need to go and see it. I was amazed.
3. The costumes people wore were out of this world. These Ren Faire folk know what they’re doing. And even those like me who just wore dresses and not costumes looked festive. I hope everyone who can can pull together some kind of costume. I even saw an Elsa. You don’t have to be part of the Renaissance, but ditch the jeans and t-shirts and dress up.  You’ll be glad you did.
4. THE JOUSTING. I love horses and the horse events were spectacular. So, so good. Don’t worry about getting there early. There is plenty of seating.
5. Lots of happy people. There is a different vibe at the Utah Renaissance Faire compared to the county and state fairs. Everyone seemed just up for a good time. There were all ages, and all seemed super jazzed about being there–ready to be mesmerized.

Right now, the weather is cooling down and will be wonderful for the Faire. Bring all your little princes and princesses and have a really fun time at Utah Renaissance Faire! It’s a good value and something you won’t find anywhere else.
