Tarzan begins with showing how Tarzan and his parents are washed up on African shore. There are many actors  on point with their character work with acting choices that either left me laughing into the next scene, or made my heart ache.  Reece Jacobsen (Terk), Paul Nickels (Professor Porter), Adam Cheney (Kerchak), Mckenzie Morgan (Kala), and Caleb Christensen (Clayton) all take these roles on with vigor, talent, and passion.

The technical crew are tremendously put together.  Director Kyle Myrick wears multiple hats as  lighting/sound design, and scenic design. Morgan takes on the role of choreographer, and her dance numbers are tight and exciting. Wells along with Sammy Myrick costume designed, and animals and humans both shine onstage. . Lastly, Music Director Nicole Kimzey has given great attention to the cast, each cast member sings with gusto and beauty in their harmonies. Tarzan at Hurricane Valley Theatrical Company is anything but tame and a great escape filled with comedy. Be sure to swing over to Tarzan running until August 28^th.
