Still attempting to get over the shock of being able to attend at the Stadium of Fire 2019 in Provo, Utah at the Lavell Edwards Stadium, (thanks to Front Row Reviewers, who I intern for) I arrived an hour and a half before the show even kicked off. The leftovers of an impressive tailgating party still littered the grounds, and if that doesn’t scream America, then I don’t know what does. I thought I would find myself among a few other early-comers, but hundreds of eager fans were already swarming the stadium. For all we knew, the energy was high before the headliner was even there.

However, Stadium of Fire is much more than headliner Keith Urban or fireworks or popcorn. Every year, Stadium of Fire puts on an incredible line-up giving tribute to our soldiers, our country, and our freedom. I was able to talk to people of all ages, asking what they were most excited for.(Please click here for links to my Facebook Live  Feed Videos.)  According to my impromptu interviews of complete strangers, the most anticipated moments of the evening ranged from fireworks to parachutes to Keith Urban to cotton candy. Yet, it’s hard to explain the exquisite magic of thousands of Americans coming together to celebrate Independence Day. For me, the most awe-inspiring detail of the evening was to see the community come together to honor the men and women (my brother included, who is currently an active Marine) who fight to keep us free. Hundreds of dancers welcomed in Marines, Navy Seals, Army soldiers, and Air Force members. An incredible choir of community members – old and young, male and female, black and white – favored us with patriotic songs as the Armed Forces marched in. An active lieutenant gave an incredible rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” that left people jumping from their seats to applaud and give thanks. But the winner of the evening goes to the hero segment, when they acknowledged five members of our community who have dealt with and succeeded in overcoming traumatic events such as 9/11 and the death of a spouse in the Armed Forces. These incredible heroes came out to show everybody what freedom is really about, and how to support and carry the ones that we love when they need it most. The respect in the stadium was incomparable as we saluted the sight before our eyes. It was impossible to hold back tears.

Before I could even get a grip on what was actually happening, parachuters with flames flying from their feet came gliding down from the sky. They appeared to be something that didn’t quite belong in our time just yet. Children unable to contain their excitement stood with mouths wide open as dreams came true right before their eyes.

Even with all this, the headliner could honestly have taken the entire show for himself. It is unmistakably clear why this incredible musician won entertainer of the year in 2018. Keith Urban was a spectacular performer. The energy never died down in the stadium, and he did not forget to pay beautiful tribute to this Independence Day. It was evident that Urban would love nothing more than to play for millions of people and show them hisBut today, scenario has changed viagra prices remarkably, leaving a few exceptions. As I looked around, I could see what I thought were the bright lights from the stadium finally lighting up the night, but I was completely mistaken:it was the flashlights of cell phones belonging to almost every single member in the audience. There were couples young and old dancing on the field. There were people singing every single word to every single song. There were even those who attempted this feat not knowing the words, but wanting to be a part of this spectacular performance.

Finally, the stadium lights came down and the final act began. The Stadium of Fire hosted a fireworks show that just happens to be the number one largest stadium fireworks show in the United States of America. What better place to be that night than in the Stadium of Fire? Even after the show was over, people were chatting energetically about the different events that took place that night. Some commented that the firework show just wasn’t quite long enough, while some thought that the 45 minutes was a bit overboard. Regardless, the people were talking and they weren’t stopping. If there was anywhere better to be in Provo, Utah on July 4, 2019, you will have to let the world know, because this was a show that I will never again miss, and I advise you to do the same.
